Gary J. Grauerholz has over 35 years manufacturing industry experience, with 30 years in the flow control industry and over 20 years in executive level leadership positions. He has extensive sales, marketing, quality, operations and general management experience providing a unique background for understanding all business processes and how they interact.
Over his career, Gary has held positions of Quality Manager, Product Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Operations, Vice President and General Manager and President. He has been a prime mover of quality improvement and supplier management processes, co-developed a concurrent new product development process for shortening new product time to market by 70%, managed sales and marketing efforts and implemented Class A, MRPII and Sales & Operations Planning processes resulting in improved customer service and improved profitability while simultaneously reducing inventories. He has combined ERP and Sales & Operations Planning processes with simple Lean techniques in a framework for success resulting in higher profits, better customer service, lower inventories and faster cycle times. He has been involved with or responsible for numerous acquisitions or divestures over a 20 year period.
Gary has been a student of continuous learning and improvement, personal and career development and self-awareness for over 25 years. He has coached and mentored numerous business associates in their pursuit of personal and professional excellence.
Gary earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees from Texas A&M University. He is an APICS Certified Integrated Resource Manager (CIRM), an SME Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CmfgE) and a Certified Birkman Consultant. He is recognized as a knowledgeable leader of process and organizational change for creating measurable results in the manufacturing industry and sits on the advisory board for the Texas A&M Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree Program. Gary was honored by the Valve Manufacturers Association as the "2007 Man-of the Year" for 20 years of service to the industry.
